The Silver Eagle Coin Company is pleased to offer brand new 2011 Canadian Silver Timber Wolf Coins, just released! The 2011 silver timber wolf coin is the first coin released in the Royal Canadian Mint's all-new "Canadian Wildlife Coin Series" program.
Each coin is gem brilliant uncirculated with a gorgeous "reverse-proof" finish and is 38 mm in diameter. The coins are mint sealed in a Thermatron sealed plastic blister sheet which tends to protect the coins better compared to coins that come from the more common 25-coin tubes from the Royal Canadian Mint. The coins that come from mint tubes sometimes have coin-to-coin rub marks since the coins are stacked together in a "loose-fitting" mint tube and not individually sealed like the coins offered here. Orders for individual coins will be carefully cut from original mint sheets of ten coins. However, if you buy a multiple of ten coins, they will come in original, uncut mint sheets as shown below.
Each coin contains one ounce 0.9999 pure silver, with a $5.00CAN face value per coin -- making it a "legal tender" coin in Canada. Obviously, the face value is largely symbolic since the intrinsic silver value is much greater than the face value.
