This gorgeous silver proof coin is the first-ever bullion coin minted on behalf of the British Virgin Islands. This stunning Silver Pegasus coin features a reverse proof finish with a design featuring the highly-recognizable Greek winged horse, Pegasus.

Each coin contains one ounce of 0.999 pure silver and is a legal tender silver dollar authorized by the British Virgin Islands. The Silver Pegasus mintage is limited to only 50,000 coins which is almost nothing compared to the typical American silver eagle annual mintage of 30-40 million coins.

One side of the coin depicts an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the other side features the magnificent winged horse, Pegasus, and the goddess Athena against a frosted-finish background. Athena is seen holding a spear in her left hand and the reigns of the golden bridle used to tame Pegasus in her right hand.

Each coin will be shipped in a 2x2 non-PVC safety flip unless you buy 20 coins which would come in their original heat-sealed plastic sheet. The coins also fit into our 39 mm plastic capsules (sold separately in packs of ten holders).
